TV Remote for Android TV · Last updated: 9 June 2026
Short version: this app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. It talks only to your TV on your local Wi-Fi network.
Nothing. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs. We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, usage data, or device identifiers.
To pair with and reconnect to your TV, the app stores a security key and the TV's identity in your device's secure keychain. This information never leaves your device and is removed when you delete the app or unpair the TV.
The app communicates only with your Android TV / Google TV device over your local Wi-Fi network, using the TV's standard pairing protocol. It does not send any information to us or to any external server. It makes no internet requests.
iOS asks for Local Network access so the app can discover and connect to your TV on Wi-Fi. This permission is used solely for that purpose. If you decline it, the app cannot find your TV but collects nothing either way.
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
